On September 15, a peaceful Hindu community in Hamilton fell prey to an act of ignorance as a backlash to a terrorist attack on the American World Trade Centre.

As the fire tore through their temple building, it torched the hearts of this community that had worked hard and long to build a Hamilton landmark and identity.

The building, which also served as a cultural centre for all generations, sustained extensive damage and will need to be demolished.

As our community recovers from the catastrophic event, it must now overcome the emotional struggle and undertake the task to rebuild the temple.

You are cordially invited to the fundraising event, "A Community Together", to help with the re-building efforts of the Hamilton Hindu Temple.

The evening of November 30 will be filled with food, song and dance from around the world along with keynote speakers, a silent auction and door prizes.
