*Panorama India, in co-operation with the Consulate General of India, successfully organized Republic Day of India – 51st Anniversary celebrations on January 28, 2001. The chief guest Stein Lal noted that India has survived many earthquakes and other calamities. He stressed, “India is eternal”. *India Canada Association of Kitchener-Waterloo will screen “Just A Little Red Dot” (which was recently screened at Cyprus through our efforts) on February 11, 2001.  They have also raised funds to help the victims of the earthquake. *Let Dancing Feet Shake the Earth - a benefit for victims of the Earthquake in India presented by Janak Khendry, Bradley A. *National Indo-Canadian Council (NICC) Toronto chapter has organized two separate events with respect to India Earthquake Relief, a) an afternoon of appreciation to publicly thank all the organizations and individuals who have contributed their resources and to bring them together and salute them in recognition of their special efforts and b) a $ 50 a plate dinner to raise funds for this cause.
