* Telugu Bharathi organized "YEH SHAAM MASTAANI" a musical and variety entertainment program on Monday, October 9, 2006 in Rose Theatre Auditorium in Brampton. Hemachandra who was the finalist in the Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 and is now a playback singer, sang a number of songs from various Hindi movies. Local artists also participated actively and presented some dances and songs.

There will be a brief program that includes Diwali Pooja (prayers), speeches from participating dignitaries, followed by cultural items from South Asia and concluding with a reception with traditional Diwali sweets.
